Caring for nature: Alabuga International School held a global eco-event called "World Cleanup Day"

The aim of the event was to inform students about the importance of keeping the environment clean and using resources wisely.

As part of "World Cleanup Day", students from kindergarten and primary school participated in a relay race, where they demonstrated their knowledge of waste sorting. They had to sort rubbish into four categories: plastic, glass, metal and paper.

As part of this event, the children made planting containers from recycled materials, sterilised them and planted microgreen seeds. A documentary film about pollution was shown to secondary school students. The students were able to reinforce their knowledge in practice by taking part in cleaning up the Gulyai Park in the city of Elabuga.

At the end of the event, all participants received commemorative keychain as a token of gratitude for their contribution to keeping the city clean.
