The “Engineering Battle” took place at the Alabuga International School

Alabuga International School hosted the large-scale technology competition “Engineering Battle” on November 27–28. The event aimed to identify and support young STEM talent and create a competitive environment that encourages technical creativity.

The organizers emphasize that they want not only to engage school students in robotics, information technology, artificial intelligence, and bioengineering, but also to promote the exchange of experience among Russia’s leading STEM schools.

As part of the competition, participants were asked to present engineering projects designed to advance one or more Sustainable Development Goals, ranging from clean energy to environmental protection and the responsible use of resources. The projects presented to the jury included a spider robot, an oil purification device, a device for studying precipitation, a candy box packing station, an unmanned aerial vehicle, and an automated line for recycling roofing waste.

Students also competed in the “Obstacle Challenge.” In this team engineering competition, participants had to build a robot capable of navigating an obstacle course.

The event also featured a teamwork and leadership tournament comprising a construction challenge, a Lumosity mathematics game, and pioneerball.

At the end of the event, the winners and runners-up were awarded commemorative certificates and valuable prizes.
