Alabuga International School held a formal ceremony to celebrate the end of the academic year. The event marked a vibrant conclusion to a busy year, bringing together students, teachers, and parents to celebrate the school community’s achievements.
AIS Principal Leonid Dyakonov opened the ceremony. He congratulated students on completing the academic year and thanked the teaching staff and parents for their productive work.
Elvira Fomina, Head of SEZ "Alabuga" Educational Cluster Administrating Services, then addressed the guests. Reflecting on the year, she presented the school’s achievement statistics, highlighting strong results in olympiad placements, victories in research competitions, and participation in sporting events.
“This academic year has been incredibly rich in achievements. Time has flown by: it feels as though we were opening the year only yesterday, and today we are already reviewing its results. Our school currently has 168 students aged 2 to 15. Every one of them has taken a significant step forward this year,” she said.
The main part of the celebration was dedicated to the awards ceremony. Students who distinguished themselves in academic olympiads, creative and research competitions, teamwork and leadership tournaments, and engineering projects received well-deserved certificates of achievement and recognition. These awards reflected the children’s hard work and the comprehensive support of their teachers and parents.
In conclusion, the school leadership emphasized that the year’s results had once again confirmed the effectiveness of its educational model. The AIS approach successfully nurtures a generation of confident, thoughtful, and independent global citizens equipped with the skills needed to compete at the highest international level.
