Alabuga International School celebrated its 10th anniversary

Alabuga International School hosted a festive celebration dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and the 10th anniversary of the school.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by Elvira Fomina, Head of the administration service of the educational cluster of SEZ “Alabuga”:

“For 10 years, we have been trying to build a system that will benefit our children and our country. We believe that a fundamentally correct approach to the development of the education system will yield results in the form of children-leaders who will not be afraid to take on complex projects and technological developments and who will be able to make new discoveries.”

Timur Shagivaleev, General director of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, then took the floor:

“Undoubtedly, education is an investment in the future of our country, region, special economic zone, and the children themselves. We have built an innovative system of education—IB, reinforced with mathematics, technology, biotechnology, and computer technology. Such investments do not pay off in one year, but the human capital created through these investments consists of children who will be able to move our country forward: to create new powerful factories, laboratories and many other things.”

The official part continued with the awarding of the school's students who won prizes at the Vanda International Olympiad in Singapore, as well as the presentation of the innovative kindergarten concept.

After the ceremony, the primary and kindergarten students headed to their renovated classrooms for their first lesson of the school year, while parents and middle school students participated in an intellectual quiz.
