The PYP Early Years Programme is designed for pupils aged 2 to 6 years old and aims to develop children's overall development in a variety of ways and to foster their curiosity, both in and out of the classroom. PYP Early Ages (Kindergarten) is a cross-curricular programme and is flexible enough to meet the requirements of most national or local curricula.
An inquiry-based learning environment means that a student's unique abilities and interests are taken into account when building skills that they will need throughout their lives. This includes thinking, researching and understanding cultural context. Most importantly, what students gain from the programme is a curiosity for learning and the ability to find information independently, as well as to make a positive impact on the local community.
Pupils are excited to go to nursery and enjoy an enquiry based learning process. By encouraging pupil voice, choice and responsibility, PYP Early Ages builds confident, happy, creative, empathetic and self-motivated young people.

PYP is a conceptual curriculum that integrates subject areas to support enquiry and learning in meaningful contexts. The interdisciplinary nature of the curriculum allows students to experience how subject knowledge and understanding work together in the real world while experiencing the individual components.
