AIS students visited Serbia
At the beginning of December, 11 students from 6th to 10th grades visited the Republic of Serbia. They spent a week studying at the Crnjanski International School with a focus on STEAM (science, technologies, engineering, art, mathematics) by Cambridge programme in Jagodina.
Crnjanski was not a random choice. The school, as well as Alabuga IS, was founded by representatives of the real economy. Its founder is Visokogradnja Inženjering LTD. The organization specializes in residential and industrial construction. Outstanding projects include the zoo and stadium in Jagodina. This company also focuses on developing technical knowledge and skills of children.

Our students held a team leadership tournament with Serbian schoolchildren. The main value of the meeting is the development of children's leadership abilityl and teamwork through identifying the potential of team members in mathematics, robotics and sports, delegating tasks and analyzing results. Also, our mentors and students imparted their knowledge on advanced competencies in robotics, introducing and teaching financial literacy to Serbian children through simulation "Business Cats".

Crnjanski School teachers were given the necessary instructions and access to "Business Cats" so that students can use the tool to develop financial literacy in the future.

Also part of the exchange programme were math quizzes, debates on GMO, artificial intelligence and social media. The event helped the mixed team of students to bond and improve their analytical skills.

During the trip, both schools had the opportunity to exchange academic experiences and establish friendly relations.
