In honour of the holiday, students conducted an experiment reproducing the discovery of the DNA double helix based on a diffraction pattern, and also hand-built a model of it.
In addition, PYP students competed in a game called Geniventure, where they had to create dragons with given properties by changing chromosomes.
And MYP students competed in the game ‘Evolution’, where they had to create an animal with a unique set of qualities that allowed them to win the fight for survival.
