International Women's Day at AIS
In celebration of such a wonderful holiday as the 8th of March, AIS hosted various events dedicated to women.
A workshop was organised for students from Kg1 - Grade 10 to create cards using LEDs.
It was a great opportunity to show their creativity and congratulate girls and mums.
The students prepared a presentation about women who made famous discoveries and inventions. They spoke in front of the class about the chosen heroines and shared interesting facts from their lives.
Also during the day, mums, teachers and girls could see video greetings from boys on the school TV.
An interesting workshop on creating a scented sachet and a wax candle was organised for mothers. Under the guidance of professionals they were able to learn a new craft and spend time with benefit.
