DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS

At our international school, we aim to provide students with a well-rounded education that will help them become successful and confident individuals. We use a variety of methods and approaches to develop important skills and attributes in our students.

TEAM-LEADERSHIP GAME (TLG)

One such method is the team leadership game. This is an activity that helps students develop teamwork, leadership and communication skills. As part of the TLG, students are divided into teams and perform various tasks that require them to work together, make decisions and achieve common goals.

TLG helps students learn to listen to each other, respect others' opinions and find compromises. It also develops their planning, organisation and time management skills. In addition, TLG helps pupils to develop a sense of responsibility for their own actions and for the actions of their team.

In TLG students compete in various disciplines depending on the age group:

  • Sports - Pioneerball, Floorball, Water Polo, Volleyball
  • Maths - using the Lumosity platform
  • Robotics battles
  • Strategy games Civilisation IV: Colonization

TLG is an effective way to develop students. It helps them to become more confident, independent and responsible.

chess tournaments

Also at AIS special attention is paid to chess education. Students regularly take part in chess tournaments and win prizes.

Learning chess at our international school brings many benefits to children, making their learning not only interesting but also useful for their overall development.

Chess promotes the development of strategic thinking, teaches them to analyse situations and make informed decisions. It helps children not only in their studies, but also in everyday life by developing their ability to see alternative ways of solving problems and choose the most effective one.

In addition, chess promotes the development of concentration and diligence, which is especially important for young children. They learn to concentrate on the task at hand and bring what they have started to the end, which in future will help them to study and achieve their life goals.

Learning chess also helps to develop memory and attention, as children memorise moves and positions of pieces and analyse the possible consequences of their actions. This helps them learn better and adapt more quickly to new conditions.

Finally, chess teaches children to value time and plan their actions. They learn to assess risks and make decisions under time constraints, which is an important skill in today's world.

Learning chess at our international school helps children to become more self-confident, independent and responsible, which is the basis for their successful future.
